PRODUCT QUESTIONS
What kind of headjoints should I order? |
We offer three styles of headjoints: Philharmonic, Soloist, and Venti. Descriptions of each headjoint can be found in the Powell brochure, located on the Brochures & Pricelists page.
Can you fit a headjoint to a flute for me if that headjoint does not come normally with that flute?
(i.e. an AMT 14k headjoint to a .016 custom silver flute)
Due to the current trend of flutists testing many headjoints on various bodies, we do not fit headjoints that are a different tubing thickness from the flute. If a dealer choose to order a flute with a headjoint that does not match the body, the fitting is the dealers' responsibility.
Is there any nickel content in the sterling silver Powell flutes? |
No. Anyone with a nickel allergy should have no problem with our Signature, Conservatory or Custom flutes.
| What is the difference between Aurumite 14k and Aurumite 9k? |
Aurumite 14k is only available as a custom flute option. It is a fusion of sterling silver and 14k rose gold. The silver is on the outside and the gold is on the inside.
Aurumite 9k has 9k gold on the outside and the silver on the inside.
Can I put a wooden headjoint on a silver custom flute? |
Yes, but it only fits with a silver flute that has a tubing thickness of .014.
FINANCE QUESTIONS |
How can I avoid paying finance charges? |
Payments must be received on or prior to the due date to avoid finance charges.
When does an account go on credit hold? |
Accounts in arrears are reviewed and placed on credit hold. An effort is made by the credit department to contact the dealer and come to a mutually satisfactory solution.
I just received my statement and something is wrong. What should I do? |
Contact the credit department immediately. We will work with the sales department, if necessary, to get your accounting issues resolved, as quickly as possible.
